Hope Village - A Partner of Landmark Christian Church

Hope Village – Tiny Housing Alternatives, Inc - is a nonprofit 501c3 that was founded in January of 2016. Our vision is to offer tiny housing alternatives for those that reside in Chippewa County. Our vision from day one was to create a tiny house village in the city of Chippewa Falls.

Hope Village has built 11 tiny homes and provided for dozens of families and individuals in need of temporary housing alternatives. That number will only continue to grow as homelessness, poverty and socioeconomic difficulties challenge people’s ability to live a quality way of life. Hope Village’s vision is to build a community supported with resources and opportunities for its guests so they can be equipped with the necessary tools and skills to get back on their feet.

In the early stages of the village’s development the homes were used for emergency housing and each home was hosted by a local church.

What We Do

Hope Village is currently a community of 10 tiny homes nestled together adjacent to a community center that will be the hub of the community. The community center houses the bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a community room, kitchen, meeting space, and a severe weather shelter. Hope Village hopes to add a maker space/shop and a retail space to the property. We have researched various tiny home villages for the un-sheltered and want Hope Village to take the best of each, with the hopes of making Hope Village a great place to live and an asset to our community.

Each tiny home has a sleeping area, a private bathroom area that will house a chemical toilet like you would find in an RV, and a kitchenette that includes a micro-wave and mini refrigerator. Each house cost between $5000.00 – $10000.00 to build using volunteer labor and a mixture of new and recycled materials.

Our next phase of development will include the building of 28 units of affordable housing. This will consist of 3 six unit apartments and 5 duplexes, the units will be a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The rent from these apartments will help Hope Village be sustainable well into the future.

Rescued and Redeemed Clothing Drive

Bring your clothing and other cloth items (soft fabrics) to the church and place them in the large donation box by the front door.  Rescued and Redeemed sells these items to Savers and receives so much a pound in cash that is used in numerous ways to fund the ministry.  They have raised $2,200 so far. Praise the Lord!

Rescued and Redeemed is a 501(c)(3) Christ-centered anti-sex trafficking organization that focuses on confronting this issue by providing deeper awareness and practical, effective solutions that rescue and redeem all involved individuals through the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. Rescued and Redeemed helps survivors of sex trafficking reclaim their lives and find healing through our survivors’ services which cover everything from advocacy to residential care.

The CollECtive Choir

The CollECtive Choir is a diverse collection of people who are using soulful Gospel and hip hop music to proclaim the life changing love of Jesus Christ and pull people from all parts of Eau Claire into deeper community. The music is original and covered urban gospel music, as well as arrangements of well-known praise and inspirational tunes redone in a gospel style. The choir is under the direction of Michael Rambo.

Together we lift up a new standard in praise to our Creator God and his anointed one, Jesus, in the public spaces and wherever people invite us.  We recognize our society's immediate need for genuine community and building relational bridges to people who are different than ourselves.  We seek to display the One-ness of the Church in Christ Jesus, and offer people in the Chippewa Valley a place to belong without needing to 'put on a face.' We serve as a stepping stone into spiritual community for people who haven't experienced the Church or who have been wounded by the Church.

All are welcome to visit, participate, or receive prayer.  We rehearse every Monday from 6:00-7:30 at the CollECtive Arts Center, 310 E. Madison St., Eau Claire, WI or at Pheonix Park during the summer months.
